The company provides a broad range of reinsurance solutions to clients across Asia, Europe and North America, with a particular focus on bespoke capital relief solutions covering biometric risks, including longevity, mortality and lapse, alongside financial market risks.
Canada Life Re said these solutions are designed to help clients manage risk more effectively while optimising capital. The company has completed transactions across North Asia, South-East Asia and Australia.
Chong added: “Asia Pacific is a dynamic and fast-growing region for our business. Establishing our Singapore office reinforces our long-term commitment to the region and strengthens our ability to support our business, clients and partners across Asia Pacific.”
