The Fidelis Partnership’s (TFP) specialist MGA platform Pine Walk has launched Adroit Underwriting Limited, a new Bermuda-based MGA focused on US small and medium enterprise (SME) casualty reinsurance.
The new business will be led by Jeff Markowski as CEO & CUO, who holds more than 20 years of US casualty treaty experience, most recently as Director of Underwriting at Peak Re, North America.
Markowski is joined by Derrick Holmes as CFO & COO, who brings over a decade of reinsurance finance and operational experience, including responsibility for agent operations with Peak Capital Ltd., and significant ILS market experience to support a “growing investor appetite” in casualty risk.
“Adroit will provide disciplined, data-driven reinsurance solutions across a broad suite of US casualty lines, including Medical Malpractice, Cyber Liability, General Liability, Construction (Architects & Engineers), Public Entity, D&O/E&O and Lawyers Legal Liability,” TFP explained.
Capacity will be provided through TFP’s Syndicates 3123 and 2126 alongside third-party carriers.
