Specialist managing general agent (MGA) Euna has strengthened its healthcare underwriting team with the appointments of Sharon Brennan as Senior Healthcare Underwriter and Rosie David as Healthcare Underwriter, as the company continues to expand its medical malpractice offering in response to growing demand for specialist healthcare insurance.
The appointments follow a period of strong performance for Euna’s healthcare portfolio and form part of the company’s ongoing investment in underwriting expertise to support its continued growth.
Euna said the appointments come as the UK private healthcare sector continues to expand. NHS waiting lists reached 7.3 million in December 2025, contributing to increased use of private healthcare services across a range of medical specialties.
Areas such as orthopaedics and gynaecology are creating greater liability exposures, while a new licensing regime for cosmetic procedures is bringing a previously unregulated sector within the scope of professional indemnity requirements.

Brennan joins Euna with more than 25 years of healthcare underwriting experience across UK and international markets, most recently serving as Practice Leader in the London Market. David joins the company with underwriting experience and a background in supporting specialist healthcare business.
