Global Atlantic, a provider of retirement security and investment solutions and a wholly-owned subsidiary of KKR, has announced the appointment of Dan Farrelly as Head of Independent Marketing Organization (IMO) and Independent Broker-Dealer (IBD) Channels.
Based in New York City, Farrelly will lead Global Atlantic’s relationships across the IMO and IBD channels, working closely with distribution partners to identify opportunities for growth and expand access to Global Atlantic’s retirement strategies.
He brings more than two decades of experience in annuity distribution across bank, broker-dealer and IMO channels.
Farrelly joins Global Atlantic from Prosperity Life, where he served as SVP, Head of Annuity Distribution.
Prior to that, he served as SVP, Head of Financial Institutions Channel at F&G, where he led annuity distribution for F&G’s bank and broker-dealer channels.
Earlier in his career, Farrelly held roles at Athene USA and Fidelity & Guaranty Life, as well as AXA Equitable.
Emily LeMay and Jason Bickler, Co-Heads of Individual Markets at Global Atlantic, said, “Dan brings deep experience building and leading distribution businesses and a strong understanding of the IMO and IBD channels.
